2013-2014 Reading List

Listed below are the books we are reading for the current sip season.  Each book will be evaluated and those that read it provide a rating on a scale of 1- 10. The book rating is the average of all members’ votes participating in the voting process.

Rating 1     Hated it! Complete waste of time and money.
Rating 2     After a few chapters I knew it would be hard to finish.
Rating 3     Okay in a textbook sort of way.
Rating 4     Good writing - forgettable subject. (BORING)
Rating 5     Good subject - poorly written. (Needed something more or a little less)
Rating 6     Easy read but very predictable - these books come a dime a dozen!
Rating 7     Descriptive, entertaining / and or thought provoking. (May recommend to a friend)
Rating 8     Page-turner - add this book and others by this author to my collection! (Recommended reading)
Rating 9     Couldn't wait to discuss - make this book into a movie!. (Recommended reading)
Rating 10   One of a kind read!!! A movie wouldn't do it justice. (Highly recommended reading – right up there with sex, wine and chocolate)
